| Last few times I used the place I did not need to speak with the librarian and the little system in the reception is very easy to use. If this opens the library 6 or 7 days a week, it will be more convenient for me as I have been caught out at least twice forgetting its closed several days a week. This seems to be a sensible step that utilises the technology investment and provides residents with an improved service. I dont think it will remove librarians as somebody still has to stock the shelves, order books etc etc etc. I think this will be a positive change overall |
