| Hello everyone, Im hoping to tap into the groups amazing local knowledge. Im researching Charles James Cross (18271910), who played an important civic role in Brentford around the turn of the century. Theres some evidence that his name is inscribed on the foundation stones of the Swimming Baths, the Fire Station (1897), and the Library (1903). If anyone: Has any historical info about these buildings or Charles Cross himself Has photos of the foundation stones (especially if his name is visible) Or might be willing to take a quick photo if you're nearby that would be incredibly helpful.
