Regarding the Tesco non offer. I spoke to customer service about the saver pass and they said they get piles of calls from people over 65 trying to get the free delivery pass. They also said that even if you pay for their free delivery saver, they still require the minimum basket of £50. How many elderly people do you see humping around a basket with £50 of food in it? I suggested they think about the over 65s and the complexities of shopping for one or 2 people on a small shop. Could easily be £20. They already have the vans going out and about so its not like setting up something new. If you know your neighbours can you offer to add things to your own order? Particularly important in this severe weather. |
