Thanks all. Our friend used the hospice behind Ealing hospital for his last few days. He was lucky to get a place as there were lists for all the hospices.
We took the set, in 2 trips, to The Princess Alice shop in Hounslow. The covered attached delivery spot, behind the shop, worked perfectly. We rang to say we were outside and they gave us a hand bringing it in. There were around 70 volumes with all the year books, all top condition. They did say that they would try and sell on eBay. If you know anyone who wants a set like this, you can tell them to contact the store.
