| I'm assuming that as part of the deal the lease is transferred over to the new owner and the pub will continue with Jacquie and Karen for now at least. Whether Admiral Taverns will be better or worse freeholders than Fullers remains to be seen. If you look at their web site they are very big on the idea of community pubs but, as a private equity company they will be wanting to get a return. Getting rid of popular and competent tenants would not help them achieve that. |
