Treacherous and highly polluting roadworks with plant running all day pumping unfiltered pollutants into businesses and homes for months and months. Dreadful lighting for as long as I can remember. Always dirty not from litter but lack of thorough cleansing. TfL manage to install cameras all over the place and they are cleaned every week. Yet traffic lights are not nor the pedestrian crossing controls or the footpaths and crossings. Surely if National Highways cannot be bothered then TfL should get on their backs rather than constantly pillorying road users for whom this city would otherwise economically collapse. And LBH need to get tough with TfL as they are no better at traffic management as the continuing debacle of the traffic lights at South Ealing road demonstrates every day and night. The inference is it is only Cllr. Lambert doing anything and not much support coming from other councillors or indeed senior officers. So maybe a petition of more from residents is needed.? |
