| Box junction only works for direct crossing traffic. If you are trying to turn right ( in either direction of Windmill road) you have to enter the box otherwise nothing can move at all including crossing traffic. So many fail to signal at this junction leading to the next vehicle moving getting stuck. The obelisk in the middle causes too many to go too wide of it casing further flow obstruction. To be fair hard to see how this can be improved. Also hard to understand how the new development has been allowed to overhang by a metre the original building line which has made HGV turning very dangerous. |
