| The residential part of the Great West Quarter is a bomb site in parts these days due to the major reconstruction activity.. removing the originally used dodgy material and replacing it with proper fire resistant material. The expense must be enormous..and there still another six-eight months work to do. Residents must be fed up of the sight of so much scaffolding. Interesting that the lower part of the Skyscraper ..the Kew Eye.. is now a Hotel of sorts. No scaffolding there! |
