I'm a bit puzzled by this, mainly because I would have thought John would be busy trying to forget the Borough Council meeting.
It was the most shambolic performance by the opposition I can remember, not least because, although there are only 9 of them they are split like their big brothers in Parliament.
I don't think John would welcome it if all 51 Labour councillors got to their feet, it would make for a very long night, but nobody's restricting anybody. We are perhaps not as fond of the sound of our own voices as some of John's comrades. |
