That's why so many of these apartments are marketed and sold outside the UK.
No questions asked.
That includes " Where did you get your money Sir"?

But just look at some of the investors and companies behind so many Developers and other finance and property based companies with offshore bases. Not too many questions asked there either.

It's only the small fry that get caught.

But on a local level, these rascals, and those who are using and profiting from them and their victims, need weeding out and dealing with severely. Wherever the come from.

Part of the reason so many estates are not such nice places to be is the profusion of people who simply do not deserve to live there. They make the lives of honest decent people a sheer misery and destroy the efforts anyone makes to make life and their environs a little better.

It is the few who spoil it for the majority. In the end it drags everyone down to their level.

But it does need to be dealt with and very firmly.
