| Until it happens, even computer experts can fall foul of technology. Very few have safe internet access. I large report has been filed to the EU on this as well as theUK govt. Simple problems like failing eyesight, arthritis in the hands and fingers, and failing co-ordination afflict a lot of over 60s who 5 years ago were as deft with a computer as a 30 something is now. A great many have no access or ability. We don't hear from them here simply because they cannot access it. And it is a great issue at the 2 old age groups my wife and I help out at which have a lot of generally quite active not so old citizens. Try looking at the Keep It posted website which carries more accurate details than the misguided govt figures which are assertive figures and do not allow for safe or personal internet access. |
