| What a tacky shambles a once proud and iconic institution has become. If you think the Brentford one is bad try the one in South Ealing. If the queue reaches the door, they close a counter. The staff cannot handle the pressure and won't hire more staff because the franchisee likes the income more than the work they have to do for it. It can take 45 mins to get a stamp in there and you cannot move for shop stock. Barely any better is the apology of a post office in WHSmiths in Ealing Broadway. The Post Office is something that is still a very useful place but it's management over the last 35 years is truly rubbish, opportunities squandered and missed and as for customer service….!!! Nobody gets a good deal, the sub-postmasters or the customers. But the CEO and Co do very nicely out of it. |
