It's not really a local issue but I'm not too sure bombing Syria will stop IS. They will use those innocent Syrians and others as human shields and create another generation of hate filled victims. But will they also be Bombing Hounslow, Tipton, Edmonton, Bradford, Tower Hamlets? The problem is IS is being supported from outside Syria and Iraq. Just like the IRA was funded in the USA by Irish Americans with rose tinted memories of a homeland and manipulated by activists who painted a picture of an almost IS like British regime. So easily done, but closer to home we all know that it was not quite like that. These terrorists are in our midst, all around. The Paris attackers were in France and Belgium, they did not get in a plane and rock up from Syria. These people need to be weeded out wherever they are, and bombing is probably not the best method. They have to be outed. And that can only come by people whose loyalty is to the country in which they reside and belong. |
