Too true and glad you brought it up. Even in areas where there is a high rate of recycling such as my street, there are a couple of my very near neighbours who are remiss on the recycling and who they are is obvious by the year by year lack of recycling on the doorstep (one does 0 recycling, the other paper only). I can 100% say that they have never been tackled re this by Hounslow Council. Strange though it may seem to those who have read my rather endless contributions to this subject, I feel that if a bin is to be introduced, it should be a recycling bin. This may, indeed, encourage recycling. Then leave the many of us who live in small households who only produce a very limited amount of general waste in any case to put a bag out each fortnight.
