| From facebook: "FROM THE ADMINS. YELLOW RIBBONS FOR ALICE ON THURSDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER. Alice is still missing. If she is still missing on Thursday it will be 2 weeks since she failed to come home. Many of you are suggesting using yellow ribbons to continue our awareness campaign and to show our community’s support and concern for Alice and her family at this very difficult time. We think this is a lovely idea. Yellow ribbons on trees, lampposts and railings would be a powerful expression of how our community feels and will continue our awareness campaign. We’ve spoken to Ealing Council (though not to other councils as yet) who are happy to support us and ask their operatives not to remove ribbons. So, with your support we would like to start this on Thursday 11th September. But we are going to need a lot of yellow ribbon! Ideally florist-type ribbon rather than fabric ribbon as it’s more water resistant. Any ideas? #FindAlice " |
