| Working at Syon House and Gardens during the summer season Syon is one of the last great houses of London. Profoundly historic, the House holds a wealth of art within its grand classical interiors, while the Park and Gardens feel like deep countryside, although barely nine miles from Charing Cross. The London home of the Dukes of Northumberland, the Percy family, for over 400 years. Syon was built on the site of a former abbey and has incredible historical connections from the medieval and Tudor past, to today. Whether people visit to learn more about our history, explore our film connections or simply have fun, we want them to have the best day possible. To make this happen, we recruit individuals who share our enthusiasm and can in turn share it with our visitors. Syon's staff are one big team; every member of staff is valued and plays an important part in ensuring visitors have the great experience they expect, and feel safe while doing so.
