| I still have two children at Lionel Primary. There has been a campaign by parents to reduce the number of office commuters parking in LRN which is making picking up children extremely hazardous. The 'back' entrance to the school (is it called Carville Crescent?) is also heaving with cars parking on the pavement too. The parking problem has grown year on year since my eldest daughter started there 8 years ago. The suggestion taken to local councillors was make part of the road restricted parking (between 10am and 2pm if I recall) to dissuade the commuters. I know that pick-up on Fridays is a piece of cake as none of the commuters are there. I have no idea how far this progressed, if at all. Just letting you know that Lionel parents have been raising LRN parking as an issue. |
