I'd not call Gunnersbury "Brentford", though it may well be technically? The construction looks more modern as well - there's virtually no flourish at all, and even in the basements of most 18 century houses, you'll find some. The building has central heating and they felt the need to put some radiators down in the basement, which would suggest it had been renovated or modernised recently. I've had a search of the planning applications to see if any listed buildings have had any changes to the heating, but couldn't find any. Most of the listed property in Brentford is in the Butts, so there isn't much else left. You can search on here: http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/ |
