I think events may well have overtaken plans, as regards the library I have heard from an impeccable source that the library is NOT closing. I see that Hammersmith & Fulham - a Tory council, decided to sell off a lot of their community halls last night, so much for the "Big Society!

"In fact anywhere where members of the community can get together and speak to one another seems to be very much on the hit list."

So much for the criticism of Hounslow's Labour Council, and regarding Isleworth Public Hall, as you well know groups can apply to run these amenities if they so desire.
