| Phil and Steve, With regard to your postings on various threads about the availablity of Hugh James Solicitors...has this been conveyed in newsletter form to residents affected by the floods? Most of them won't read these Forums or even know that this Website exists. There is real human suffering going on out there..and I would say that it is a fanastic opportunity for future Councillors of Syon Ward to get out there and really find out what's happening. Those who wander back to their homes must be crying in their hearts at the losses...and yearn for an ear to speak to. Whilst taking pictures I speak with lots of people and people affected. They say to me that Thames Water have done a great job to help those affected...but there are others issues. As many as 50 families are being rehoused /hoteled.. some in the grim Osterley Park Hotel..and won't be returning home for up to 4 months. |
