| That southbound traffic down Syon Lane/Spur Road to Busch Corner is nigh on stagnant at times. I presume this is caused by diverted buses wanting to turn right at Busch Corner and proceed to Hounslow. We've mentioned this already. Buses block the junction. This chaos now extends to Gillette Corner. My H91 bus from Chiswick couldn't leave the bus stop outside Homebase to travel to Osterley because of stagnant traffic in the slow lane wanting to turn into Syon Lane. In addition, traffic travelling southwards...coming down from Sky TV and Tesco's and tempting to cross the Great West Road..were sometimes marooned mid junction because of the stagnating traffic in Syon Lane. Andy, I assume that the Community Group are still active in the affairs of Syon and Isleworth..is this not an opportunity to get something done?. It will obviously be to your credit if you succeed. |
