"If she'd have done the honorable thing and stood down Labour would have more than likely won the seat." What do you know about it? Ann Keen did better than most other Labour MPs who were fighting Ashcroft-funded Tory candidates. The swing against her was 5.9%. The average swing against Labour in other Tory target seats was 7.5%. Ann did well to get 18,000 votes: most people thought she'd come third - she proved them wrong. Oh, and btw Claire - she won your area easily. |
