Hi Doris, As William said..that reddish building is Kew Palace within Kew Gardens. There is a better view of it from the entrance steps of the Waterman's Art Centre. There will be lots of references to the Palace on Google (and images) but Brentfordians will remember that it was the location of HM The Queen's 80th birthday party...organised by Prince Charles. Kevin, Yes, on the Roehampton picture, the top distant horizon would be the North Downs...Caterham,Reigate,Epsom and that area. The lower horizon ridge is likely to be the upper reaches of Richmond Park. Lots of trees around us aren't there? ....soaking up the pollution the local pollution! Can you do the Gillette Clock Tower for me..and I'll just do the factory roof!! |
