I'm saddened to read of the problems the Polish Community are having ... trying to organise a cultural event at the Grasshoppers Sports Ground in Osterley. I once lived in Osterley for some 40 years... when the Community was overwhelmingly native. That's all changed now. We Brits are much indebted to Poland, are bruised by their past ... and admire their National pride. Let's hope that the relative "incomers in the area respect that.
