| Given the amount of younger GPs in particular, use Google to reference details but all too often do not read or find reading patients notes too time consuming and often in such a convoluted state that important notations get missed or misread. The systems they have to work with are dire and the communications within area and hospital trusts are dreadful. It is a wonder that anything actually works as it should but it does only because of those with a good degree of ingenuity find a way. Or those outside ie patients have good abilities, community action skills and a great deal of patience and temperament. The best way to see just how good AI is is to test it with a subject or field you are expert in. And see what it comes up with. Compare what you know and fully understand and then see. It can be correct. It can be further than correct with verifiable alternatives. It can also be misleading, part correct or completely wrong. It will only ever be as good as the skills of the user and said users ability to crosscheck and fully comprehend. |
