| Can I just say Raymond that where our parks are concerned there is now the independent Friends of Parks Forum that has representatives from quite a few groups across the borough. The Forum meet quarterly and invite several officers from L.B.H. and GS360 along for free and frank discussions with the aim of improving our parks, and encouraging and supporting volunteering, and helping with access to grant funding for projects and insurance, risk assessment training among other things etc. If anyone is interested in either setting up a 'Friends' group or already are in one and want to join the Forum they can P.M. me and I'll happily put them in touch with the right people. |
