It seems very odd. There are well known local organisers of such tours who do things but then others who seem to usurp them and are often not local and yet are funded. But it's true that almost everything going on or coming up gets publicised after the event, and locals never seem to get invited or properly informed. One of the big failings of Social Media reliance is how many get frozen out and I think in many cases it's quite deliberate. Another form of prejudice. |
