| Amazing that it takes a death to finally clean up the disgusting state of the A4 through Brentford. There is no rush to whizz her to Windsor and lining the M4 ( or indeed trying to prevent it getting lined with grieving public ) is neither safe or practicable. But the A4 route to Windsor gives a great many the opportunity to see and bid her farewell. Given that the Festival at Gunnersbury will cause public transport chaos for West Londoners trying to get to or from Westminster this weekend, many will be denied the chance. So this would be an appropriate option. And as pointed out it is the Historical Route and the M4 did not exist at the beginning of her Reign. Lets hope so. |
