Thanks for your responses Anne and Raymond. As we get around this Summer perhaps we'll have a chance to highlight more floral attractions in the area. Some,over the years, have been a delight to observe.
Some 15 years ago on this Forum we were better able to post pictures of what we'd seen. These were much admired and appreciated by Brentfordians far and wide. Audrey in the USA and pictures of York Road come to mind.
There used to be Boroughwide awards for "best gardens" etc. If you enter "front gardens" in the Forum Search box you'll be presented with a lengthy list of previous postings from those years. Even some pictures of York Road are still there! |
