I visited the Brents yesterday. They are still awaiting a visit from the Ealing tree service and it is a scene of some mayhem. Mr Brent has at least (by his own efforts) carved a path to the shed where Mrs B's scooter is housed and Hounslow Highways will be attending today to clear any remaining debris from the cul de sac where the Brents live.
Nothing new from the tree people, who are now saying they will come on Friday (after last Friday's promise)
I don't think there's much more to be done until the main tree is removed, which I suspect may require specialist equipment. There are other very tall trees around and about the Brents' which are causing them concern.
