I struggle in deciding who to vote for in every election.Like Paul, I would prefer more independent candidates.I recently spoke with a Labour councillor and she came across as personable and open minded, the exact opposite of the reputation of her party locally.I told her that on the strength of our meeting, that I would have no issue in voting for her if she were an independent candidate. My problem is with the party machinery as I see it. A vote for the Green Party candidate will mean a further endorsement of the controversial LTN's and cycling schemes. No thanks. |
