It's true that that local Labour party have little in common with the principles of Bevan and Attlee or Healey and Benn - their only principle seems to be to hold on to power at any cost. It's a pity that you would not consider voting Conservative - I've met some of the candidates for the next election and found them to be genuinely interested in delivering representation for all constituents - they contrast greatly with the current spiteful administration imposing their narrow-minded agenda and responding to any criticism to their policies with "they'll get used to it". We should consider a change - there is no advantage in one-party politics at a national or local level. |
