Covid numbers have been increasing over the past week, since the kids went back to school.  Oddly this fact does not seem to have registered with any of the major news outlets yet, but the numbers are there for anyone to see at https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/uk/.

Savid Javid's "strategy" seems to be to prioritise getting people back onto the tubes and into their offices at any cost, supported by a Prime Minister and a government who by their actions seem determined to send out a message that everything is fine and dandy and the nasty virus has gone away.  Note Boris' point blank refusal to wear a mask during a recent well-publicised visit to a hospital at which wearing masks was specifically required.  If that isn't a gesture purposely designed to undermine the message of caution I don't know what is.
