We have started losing out internet speed on the landline. Same thing but engineers have been three times now. No internal fault. It seems that the local system is now overloaded with too many people using too many devices 24/7. The further you are away from the local cabinet the weaker your line capacity becomes. This is due to unprecedented use by those now working from home and heavy demand web based portals. Trying to do things online is now often taking longer than when we first had dial up. It's unlikely to get resolved. But we are being offered a 50% rebate as the promised service cannot be met. But it does not really help the fact that much work and thus income is now being lost. |
