I didn’t mind the batteries going from the recycling lorries to the supermarkets, but that was then ... and we haven’t been in a supermarket since March. I have taken some to the tip with extra household waste and cardboard but I would like to get rid of the current bag of about 15 batteries without going to the tip. Must mean lots of people are putting them into household waste. You have to book a slot just to get rid of batteries. Surely household batteries could go with the weekly recycling? |
