As I said somewhere else, I have various people complaining about lack of enforcement and saying they can't park near their home (including NHS workers coming back off shift) so that is why we continue to enforce parking restrictions. Apart from anything else we owe it to the people who have asked for controlled parking and paid for permits. Of course, some people are also complaining about enforcement happening. For clarity, LBH are still enforcing parking restrictions pretty much as normal, though the workforce is somewhat depleted by self-isolating etc. NHS workers, carers etc can apply for free permits and over 1000 have already been issued. https://www.hounslow.gov.uk/news/article/997/council_offers_parking_permits_to_over_1000_nhs_and_critical_workers_within_borough There are also arrangements for short-term parking permits for each CPZ |
