It is almost impossible to complete a set of these cards. There are 144 cards in a set and you were given 4 cards with every £10 spent. The scheme went for just a few weeks and you cannot chose the cards you need to complete your album, which you pay £1.50 for. I remember the football tokens we collected in the same way many years ago, only then there were only around 30 coins to collect. I was doing some school fund raising and some lovely person in Sainsbury’s sat and opened a huge pile of the coins to put together a set and even she couldn’t manage it as she put a duplicate in the elusive one remaining slot.
I have a huge pile of cards and have only one complete set of these ’ Hereo’ cards. I need a 63 to complete a second set and would happily swop or give away the spars. Anyone got a 63 spare?
