Officers did NOT vote for this - councillors vote - officers report and make recommendations for them to consider, they are not duty bound to agree. They could have taken into account the very detailed objections submitted and listened to the objector's submission. Questions of the applicants were allowed that were not planning issues and objectors were on a hiding to nothing from the outset, but what do they care? They don't live around here. It would have been heartening if just one of the councillors - apart from the one Isleworth representative, had said they'd got off their rear and actually visited the area to see the situation for themselves before dismissing the points raised by objectors.
