The Brentford Dock board informed Brentford Dock residents on the 22nd of November 2018 that they had “entered into a contract to sell the part of Dock Road owned by Brentford Dock Ltd from the High street up to the start of the first bridge in return for a payment of £550,000 from Geronimo Ltd a company registered in Jersey which we understand is a company owned by Ballymore.”
Brentford Dock residents were told by the Brentford Dock Board that “It is understood that Ballymore intend to lift the cobbles and replace them; however, this does not form part of the obligations in the contract to sell Dock road to them”. The May/June 2018 Brentford Dock Newsletter clearly states that Ballymore have reassured Brentford Dock “that the cobbles in Dock Road will be preserved as a feature”. Hopefully the cobble road will be preserved in an acceptable form. In the same newsletter in regard to the new car park it was stated that “Road access will be from the Heidelberg side (not Dock Road)”. Ballymore it would appear have not lifted the cobbles and road access to the car park is currently from Dock Road.
Does anybody have any idea as to whether there is now any likelihood of this structure accommodating access from the Heidelberg side?
