On the evening of Friday July 12th it was lovely to see the forecourt outside Verdict on Brentford's town square being put to good use. Over 60 people attended an informal fashion show organised by Naked Grain and hosted by Verdict with a full bar in operation. The weather was kind, and all the lovely first-time models threw themselves into their parade on the outdoors catwalk with smiles and style, there was some chilled music and the sound of chatter and laughter until 10 pm. Passers by and customers at La Rosetta stopped to look - and the clothes and jewellery were on sale after the parade. This was a great example of local businesses getting together to help each other's trade and bring some life to the centre of Brentford whilst we await the redevelopment. Let's have more events like this please! |
