There are some on here. We do need to chase our Councils to get this information updated on the West London Waste Authority website. So many of our West London Councils are members of and have a representative on the WLWA. http://westlondonwaste.gov.uk/about-us/elected-members/ So many white goods are now built in that these need to be included. We need to be sure that they are all tested and that builders install them to their manufacturers' instructions which includes making sure that there is adequate ventilation to the back of items such as fridge freezers. Which? is calling for fridge freezers to have metal backs rather than plastic. https://www.which.co.uk/reviews/fridge-freezers/article/fridge-freezer-safety and then there is the problem with Whirlpool tumbler dryers. Whirlpool owns other trade names. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-48603753 https://www.parliament.uk/business/news/2019/june/urgent-question-as-half-million-unsafe-tumblr-driers-recalled/ |
