Yesterday when walking in a more wooded area of Kew Gardens my friend and I saw a muntjac deer. I told the staff at Victoria Gate and they said that there had been a few sightings in the last couple of years and that the deer had somehow found their way there. Has anybody any ideas of the route it/they would have taken? I can't think of any other than one also involving crossing the river. Maybe I need a good local map to work it out. The deer won't have come from Richmond Park as as far as I'm aware there are no muntjac there (or am I mistaken?) - the only place I've ever seen muntjac is in Buckinghamshire.
