Worse still, if possible, is that the contractors are now equally obviously alerted to the fact that the works they are undertaking are contrary to the planning conditions – and that residents are flagging this up for Council attention - and have now screened off the gate to prevent the public from seeing what continues to go on:
This cynical flouting of planning conditions needs addressing urgently – councillors, please? Evidently the assurances thus far received are of little worth, and the opportunity to uncover more of Brentford's past is being rapidly lost to us with this callous fait accompli.
