I get the impression that they are all out of step with what is going on.  Long term residents with Asian backgrounds were saying they wanted to vote ukip last time and you can be sure they voted out out out and are probably shouting just as loudly at their TV sets as we are with what is going on.  One chap in his 60's, Sikh, cannot contain himself moaning about Poles coming over here and taking the jobs ...

Nobody has asked clearly, why, people gave their votes starting with the high turn out.  Why did people vote now yet they don't normally vote.  Mind you, it would mean really wanting to hear the answers without screaming rude things about personally held opinions, and it would mean listening.
