More than anything else I just feel so angry about this. What gives anybody the right to take an innocent young girl's life in such a ghastly way and destroy the lives of her family in the bargain just for (presumably) some momentary gratification? What did that poor girl go through in the final moments of her life and did the beast responsible not have any sense of guilt or remorse at all as he went about his grizzly business? I really despair of our fellow humanity sometimes. None of us is perfect but how do creatures such as this manage to live and breathe in normal society? Is their evil so well disguised from those around them that nobody has any idea that something is amiss? I hope they find the person responsible and that justice is swift and appropriately severe. Sadly nothing society can do now will bring Alice back. My sympathies to her family, friends and loved ones. |
