Perhaps this idiot should read the write up on Chiswick in last Sunday's Times Home section! As for 'town centre managers', I have three cats anyone of which could fulfil this function just as well as any I've experienced, and for a lot less money! Hounslow is a dump and Chiswick isn't the High Rd. it was many years ago, but it is at least a nice place to go, Brentford? Would need a lot of investment how much longer is the regeneration going to take?
